Canadian Traditional Red River Jigging Championship Preliminaries begin

John Arcand and Special Friends:  John Arcand and the fiddle workshop instructors each paired with a young fiddle player.  Pairs performances followed by a group finale.

9 pm

Old Time Dance featuring “Bannock Country”

Sunday, August 15th, 2010

7 - 9 am

Fiddles & Flapjacks Breakfast: Friends of the  Northern Lights Bluegrass & Old Time Music Society

9 - 10 am Gospel Hour with the “Pelletiers”
10 am

Finals will run in this order Fiddling - Senior, Novice 1, Novice 2
Followed by Canadian Red River Jigging Championship Finals
Fiddling finals for Junior 1 and 2, Open 1 and 2
Announcement of Jigging Winners - allowing time for Challenges
Continuation of Fiddling Finals: Traditional Métis, Andy DeJarlis and
Championship

3 pm

Fiddle Finale

Trophy and Prize Money Presentation
