Festival Site Questions

If I do not want to camp - where can I stay?
We are pleased to recommend our host hotel for 2012 - The Heritage Inn.  Click here for more information.

How do I get there?
We are located just off the Pike Lake Highway (#60) approximately 10 kilometres west of the city of Saskatoon. Take 22nd Street West right out of the city, stay on Highway #7 and watch for signs. Click on this link for a printable Map.

How much does it cost?
A day pass is $25.00 per person. A weekend pass is $60.00 per person. 12 and under are admitted free. And, this is a one time charge. There is no fee for anything else within the Festival. All workshops, concerts, dances, contests are totally FREE!!   (We except donations for the Saskatoon Food Bank at our admissions booth. While this is not mandatory, a little goes a long way and your help is much appreciated by those less fortunate than us.)

Is there Camping?
Plenty of FREE UN-SERVICED camping is available. Sorry, there are no hook-ups, no showers, no water and no OPEN FIRES ALLOWED.  You can arrange for greywater removal with the folks who come to pump out our portapotties, but this is not arranged by the festival staff.

Can I reserve a camping spot?
No sorry, all campsites are on a first come, first serve basis and we cannot save spaces.

Is there a camping area for tents?
Yes, we have a treed area for tenters, but unfortunately you cannot leave your vehicle by your tent. It must be moved into the main parking lot. And, once again there is no water services on no hot water and no open fires.

Is there Handicapped Camping and Parking?
Limited amounts. We try to insure that as much space as possible is designated.

Is the Festival Wheelchair Accessible?
Partially. Being held outdoors there are spots with some rough terrain to cross to get to the main stage venue, but it is a nice hard and even surface. We also have one wheelchair accessible washroom.

Being at an outdoor festival, what if it rains?
All events are held under the Roof or in tents to provide shelter from the elements. Please bring your own lawn chair.

Is there seating in the main stage venue?
No, please bring your own lawn chair.

Can we buy Food at the Festival?
There's an on-site concession that serves up all the traditional festival fare - burgers, hotdogs, coffee, cold drinks etc, and also features Soup and Bannock, Homemade pies, and much more. Supper specials, like "Beef on a Bun" are also featured.

Can I bring my pet with me?
Festival organizers discourage this. Small pets may be o.k. -  but must be kept contained and left at your campsite. (a leash is not considered containment) and the Festival is not responsible for any harm that may come to them. No pets are allowed on the festival grounds, in the performance venue, or the concession.
